August, 1925. 14 Friday. Rain this morning. Threatning all day. Walter was cutting this afternoon and Aubrey stooked. Vernon plowed all day. 15 Saturday. Very hot. Walter & Aubrey finished cutting and stooking the grain tonight after 8 oclock. Vernon was plowing. 16 Sunday. Hot day. Walter went to church & S.S this a.m. Our company today - Mr. & Mrs. Art. Esch, Mr. & Mrs. Ezra Murer, Mr. & Mrs. Colson Jefferson and Lois Mr. & Mrs. Harold Hebel and Glenn Roy went home with them tonight 17 Monday. Hot. Ella & Vernon did the washing this morning. The men were drawing grain and brought in 8 loads of barley. Born.- On Aug 18th. to Mr. & Mrs. Lincoln Weaver, a son - Howard Ross. Born - On Aug 18th to Mr. & Mrs. Bert Hilliard, a son - Murray Lloyd.
