August, 1925 27 Thursday. Very cool day. Ella went to Elmira with Walter and had her dinner at Art. Kliuck's. The men brought in 2 loads of peas and 2 of rakings. Our company tonight - Mr & Mrs. Otto Miller, Laura and Norman and Mrs. Trenton of Toronto 28 Friday. Fine day. Aubrey helped to thresh at Louis Miller's this a.m. Walter took a load of chopping to Floradale. Aubrey & Vernon plowed. Ella's visitors tonight - Mr. & Mrs. Sim Weaver, Mrs. Mory Hoffman, Maryorie and Hilda of Bridgeport 29 Saturday. Very warm. Walter got the fertilizer at Elmira. Vernon & Aubrey were plowing all day. 30 Sunday. Very sultry. Thunderstorm and a little rain tonight. We went to S.School this morning and then went to Kitchener, had our dinner at Frank's, called at Vic's and had tea at Colson's. Aubrey spent the day in Stratford.
