Maurer's finished cutting corn at 10.20 a.m. The men were plowing this afternoon Grandpa Krauter's and Emerson's called here tonight and Walter & Ella went up to Lincoln Weaver's with them. 2 Friday. Lovely morning. Was almost as dark as night for about half an hour this afternoon. Thunderstorms and heavy rain. The men helped to cut corn at Sam Bird's till about 3 oclock. The High School had their Field Day this p.m. 3 Saturday. Fair. The men helped to cut corn at Noah Miller's this p.m. Aubrey went away tonight for the weekend 4 Sunday. Cloudy & cold. Ella went to Bridgeport S.S and church this morning and had her dinner at Mr. {Haas's?}. We went to Woolwich S.S. and church this p.m. 5 Monday. Cloudy and cool. Showers. Ella did her washing. The men were plowing and hauling maurer {(ver)?}
