December, 1925 22 Tuesday. Fine cold day. Ella did her washing. Aubrey tool a load of turnips to Alma this morning and one to Elmira this afternoon. We had the following company for dinner - Valentine Otterbein, Albert & Emerson Krauter, John Maurer, Mr. & Mrs. Ezra Maurer. The men all went to Dave Temple's sale this afternoon Ruth and Esther Miller visited Ella this afternoon and were here for tea. We went to the Rehearsal at church tonight. 23 Wednesday. Cold. Snowflurries. Wall Vernon & Aubrey worked in the bush this afternoon. Ella trimmed the Christmas tree. Walter's callers - Alex McDonalds, Jack & Emerson Spies, and Louis Miller. Walter, Ella & Vernon drove to Alma tonight and took in the Presbyterian Xmas Entertainment and it was very good. It was storming when we drove home.
