Lizzie here for tea. Thur Aug Sept 25_ Very cold and windy I was up at Mary's all day. Went to Harvest Thanksgiving Service. it rained a little. Fri Aug Sept 26_ Threatening rain. Lizzie called in morning Sat Aug 27_ Dull day, rained heavily at night, I called over at Ma's in the afternoon. Sun Aug Sept 28_ Rained all morning. Uncle and I went to Fisherville Thanksgiving Service in the afternoon, and at Thornhill in eve Mon Aug Sept 29_ Fine day. Uncle away for wood in the afternoon and "brot" Marjorie Tue Aug Sept 30 -- Dull and raining in the afternoon Wed Oct 1 -- Fine but cold and very windy.. Aunt Mattie came home from Toronto.
