Friday 12th snow We did Chores and Finished Splitting Wood & hauled in bal of Turnips. Mr Broadfoot came to see our Calves & thinks of buying a bull and two Females. Then I saw Mr Lowe and went up to Hospital.
Saturday 13th fair & cool We Chored and J.W. Plowed Manuel Piled wood and cleaned up root cellar & Mr Lowe came to look at Cattle in the Morning & Stayed until afternoon. he offered him E.P. Mayflower 3rd & Matilda Bull C for $100000. I went to Mill with a Grist and then up to Hospital Marys Operation has not been quite successful. and will have to be undergone again gro. Ect. 50 C Books. Ect. 20c bgt 1900 Corn Chop 21 {per ton?} and 325 @ 1 c lb whole corn cor .50 .20
Sunday 14th cold & windy All the Children Aunt Jane & I went up to the Hospital we stayed most of the day with Mary. She is rather dull as Dr says She will require to have another Operation
Monday 15th fine J.W. & M.A. Chored and hauled manure to corn patch and some to mangels.
