April Friday 16 1926 A damp wet morning. Alex and I peddling Flats and Upper town in an hours time with the truck when he brought in part of my load on it. Left Allan Scotts {dairy misspelled?} in town and took home new wagon. Saturday 17 Initiated new milk wagon on the Golden Guernsey milk route and it worked fine. Some classy outfit and the talk of the city. Sunday 18 Ottos were here for dinner. Went up home for Supper late in afternoon then took Jean to church to hear Francis Nickawa. Lovely time with Jean when she had her first ride behind "Jean of Bendemere" nearly got in a mix up at station bridge April Monday 19 1926 Busy day on milk route and I received some nice compliments from the "Crook's" about Jean. Tuesday 20 The neighbours and friends gave {Nancy?} Lawson a shower in Falkland but I didn't go but the Buck's were well represented by the rest of the gang. Wednesday 21 Took Jean to Canning to see a real play entitled "Always in Trouble" and it sure was good. A lovely night and I had a wonderful time and the nicest drive I ever had with a wonderful girl namely "Jean".
