Jan. 23, 1898 Wea. === I rose this morning and found it had rained and snowed in the night we had breakfast but did not get to Church I dont know why they did not go, The day seems long when we do not get to Church, It has been a fine day. === Ther. Monday 24 Wea. === I got up and lit the lamp and foud it was 7 O' clock so I had to hurry up, to have the boys ready for school in time, I was sewing boots all day and oiling them, so I was quite a cobbler. George is mending his bob sleighs.
