came back they thought they would go so Grant got the buggy turned around & they wanted me to get in but I wouldn't so they got Annie in Max Jennie Ida went E.W. & me Sarah had the two Brothers behind. We all shook hand & said got by. Our folks were away & they got home before the fellows went away so they thought they would see the parting but they did not for we were at the lane gate. It was just a lovely night. It was moonlight. When E.W. & I were going down the lane going home he through his cane up in the Apple tree I forgot to get it coming back.
