April, 1928. 7 Saturday. Rained all day. Walter took Vic and Glen to Elmira this afternoon and they took the trolley from there. The roads are fierce. 8 Sunday. Easter Sunday. Looks like winter this morning. Snowed and stormed all day. Harvey Reist was here this afternoon and Charlie and Aulta tonight. 9 Monday. Cold & windy. Snowflurries Walter butchered a big pig today for another Mr. Trask and made sausage, etc. Colson & Edith brought Sonny & Roy up here tonight. Noah Miller spent the evening here. 10 Tuesday. Fair and rather cold. Walter got some salt at Alma this morning. They were cleaning seed grain this afternoon. Callers - Mr. Martin, Vernon and Kenneth Schwindt, Oscar Holzworth, Mr. Trask.
