14 Monday. Beautiful warm day. Vernon was rolling and Walter was drawing manure. Ella did her wash-ing this morning and dug a piece along the garden fence and sowed lupine seed also planted some Golden Bautam corn. Tonight Walter went to a finance meeting at the church with Mr. {Moldenhaner?} and Mrs. {Moldenhaner?} spent the evening with Ella.
15 Tuesday. Lovely warm day. Vernon was rolling and Walter was drawing manure this a.m. This p.m. they were both plowing. Ella finished digging the {perennial?} border, Callers tonight - Osias Bauman & Harvey Reist
16 Wednesday. Showery this p.m. The men planted the potatoes and plowed today. Ella cut the potatoe for planting and sowed hollyhocks, digitalis and aquilegia in the border.
