1 Wednesday. Fine warm day. The men were hoeing turnips. Mrs. Louis Miller and Mrs. Margaret Crowe of Monroe, Wisconsin visited Ella today and were here for tea
2 Thursday. Hot & sultry. Thunderstorms and rain tonight. Walter shipped hogs today. Ella went berrypicking in Louis Miller's bush with Edna Miller. Callers tonight - Harvey Schmidt, Mr. & Mrs. Enoch Schneider and Eva.
3 Friday. Sultry & threatening Heavy shower tonight. The men hoed turnips this a.m. and drew some wood into the woodshed this p.m. Ella was canning raspberries and blueberries. Miriam Maurer and Wilfrid Underwood were married this evening by Rev. Becker.
4 Saturday. Thunderstorms all day. The men brought in the rest of the wood. Charles Hilliard came up for tea.
