5 Sunday. Drizzly miserable day. Walter, Ella, Vernon, Mr. Hilliard and Grandpa Maurer went up to Clifford today and had their dinner and supper at Uncle Jake Maurer's
6 Monday. Damp, foggy day. Walter & Vernon took Dinah Lass, one of our Hereford cows up to Alma this morning. Walter sold her to Borovoy & Bender. We had the following company for tea - Mr. & Mrs. Frank Hamel, Margaret, Betty, Sonny & Constance, Mervin Smith all of Kitchener, Miss Gwen Baker of Toronto, Mrs. Fanny Reichert and Jean Hartung of Rochester, N.Y and Mrs. Isaac Holle of Conestogo. Colson, Edith Lois, Mrs. Kehl and Robert called in tonight on their way home from Port Elgin Betty is staying for a few days.
7 Tuesday. Very warm day. The men plowed this morning and started cutting wheat this p.m. Ella & Betty were picking berries in Louis Miller's bush this afternoon
