October, 1928. 6 Saturday. Fine day. The men plowed. Our company for tea - Mr. & Mrs. Colson Jefferson, Mrs. Harold Hebel and Glenn. Roy & Sonny went home with them tonight. Mr. & Mrs. Oscar Schiezholtz visited us tonight. 7 Sunday. Beautiful day. We went to Heidelberg today with Charlie Miller. Angus Weber's and Norman Snider's went too and the men sang several quartettes at their Rally. We had dinner at Grandpa Krauter's and supper at Menns Brubracher's. 8 Monday. Fair. Ella did the washing. Walter went to Elmira this morning and Vernon plowed. This afternoon they brought in 2 loads of mangels. Mr. & Mrs. Norman Snyder visited us tonight. It was raining tonight.
