October, 1928 19 Friday. Dreary drizzly miserable day. Vernon plowed this morning and this p.m. they both helped to cut corn at Sam. Birds. 20 Saturday. Showery. Noah Miller spent the forenoon here. The men were both helping with the corn at Sam. Bird's this afternoon. 21 Sunday. Lovely day. We had our Harvest Home at Woolwich today. Rev. Frye of Cleveland, Ohio preached an excellent sermon. The Jubilee Quartette sang several number and Mr. Maynard Hallman played two selections on a hand-saw which were very good. Our company for tea - Mr. & Mrs. Augus Weber, Mr. & Mrs. Norman Snyder, Mr. & Mrs. Ezra Maurer, Mr. & Mrs. Wilfred Underwood, Mrs. Harold Hebel and Glen, Muriel Klem and Chas. Miller.
