November, 1929. 10 Sunday. Wonderful morning Cloudy p.m. Rained tonight. we went to church & S.S. this morning and up to Grandpa Krauter's for dinner. Lincoln Weaver's were there too 11 Monday. Drizzly mild day. We roasted two rooster here this morning and took them along over to Ezra Maurers where we had our Thanksgiving dinner. Colson's, Grandpa Maurer's and Vic & Glen were there also Uncle Sam Maurer. We went to the Presbyterian Fowl Supper at Alma tonight. 12 Tuesday. Cloudy & mild. Walter butchered a big pig for Eph. Snyder today. Eph. helped and was here for dinner. Mr. Haggarty and son Norman were also here for dinner and bought some pigs from Walter. Other callers - Enoch Schneider and Mrs. Allen Wagner.
