Went to hoe turnip in afternoon but came on rain about two o'clock and raining until 5 p.m. Choring and getting other half of pig pen ready to cement. Fine night. Warm sultry morning. FRIDAY 9 Having turnip all day. Brock to town at night. Cloudy and showers going round. Finer to wards evening. SATURDAY 10 Scuffing and hoeing turnip. Brock over to Gilment for some berries in evening and we to lawn. Fine day and warm.
