Far Jimie .25 Bird .25 & Marion 10 were at the social. it was pretty good. The weather is still very cold for this time of year not a sign of thaw. the road is as good as it was in January. |

The calf very sick. Pa & Jimie went to Lancaster to meet the {Coarps?} of widdow Duncan Donn, she died west at her son Donald's, it did not come, snowed in. I was at prayer meeting tonight, not many thair, but it was very interesting. The boys took home some of our hay from the Pigon farm. |

My birthday Jimie & Ran & I went to The Gore. Left home 6 P.M. came home 10 P.m. A lovely night but bad roads. Cahols like cellarsdon, Mary & Far were off to singing school. The last night John and Mary Jn Robertson was with us. |

Sunday. Rev. McCrimmon of Summerstown preached in our church a very good sermon. News of a fight in the N. West Riel the rebel and some Indian half breeds have rebelled against the Government. very fine day |
