Finished Bird's dress on Friday evening, And got every thing ready for the excursion, got up at three on Saturday morning made breakfast for three boys Far, Jim & Murdy who were going to Huntington to play Lacrosse. Pa was on High horse, Bird & I started at 6 for Lancaster. ex. train came twenty minutes to eight. we spent a pleasant day, but were very tired. left Ottawa 6 P.M. got home a 11. {do?} A sister of George McLennan was hear today |
