Friday 1st Cold day.

3 Prayer Meeting in our church.
4 Kate went to visit down the Black River
7 Woman's Meeting at Mrs McLarin 13 members present my offering 10 cts. Jimie in Afternoon at a ploughing bee at Hugh McKenzie's . A big danse at night. We finished putting out manure. Had Dan Lum yesterday & today. working at manure.
8 Got 2 lb tea at Dan's. Killed a sheep 90
9 very fine weather sunshine, just lovely.
10 Fine warm day. Far & Jimie went to Cornwall yesterday to take the train last tonight for Toronto they are to play lacrosse on Monday.
11 Another lovely day. got 1 qrt black strap 1 lamp chimney at Dan's I sent a box of things to Murdy by Far. Robertson this morning and 2 dollars
12 Looks like rain 8 A.M. 10 P.M. began to rain about 10 A.M. and did not cease until night. I had a letter from Far, got 20 lb gran sugar at Dan's Paid 1.54
13 Boys came home. Had a good prayer meeting
14 Wind high. tomorrow is fast day in our church
15 Bright day. Wind high. Rev. Donald McLennan preached. Donald McLennan is sick. in {?} A.J. Grant's nephew
16 Rev Mr Ross of Lancaster preached today
17 Had very hard frost last night. not so many at Church as we would think Collection for Fore. Mission Got 10 dollars wants 140.
