I did not write for a few days so I cannot recollect dates I got 3 baskets of peaches from Sandy about the fifteenth Pa went to Lancaster and got 80 lb granulated sugar, he got cloth for a {?} of clothes and gave it to Fraser to make Bird went to Martintown on the 12th to attend the modal School On the 18th a fire broke out on our place near Boomhouse's & Majors And Pa and the boys were ditching to stop it The fair took place on the 27. 28 of the month in our village we had potatoes 4 exhibits. beans pears soap some jelley plums catsup I did not hear if we got prizes we took up our potatoes rest on the 29th. Murday came home on the 23rd. There was a Lacrosse match on Saturday 24, between the Elections of Landcaster, And the Olimpe for the Medal. they played 1.40 Minutes Olimpian won the game. And will keep the medal for a while longer 6
