Tuesday Dec 30. Cold and dull. Temp. 28°. I went out with Uncle Alfred. For my birthday presents I got a telescope from Papa and Olive, a hymn book from Ma and a trap from Noble. Wednesday Dec. 31. Dull and cold. Temp.28° I am fifteen to day. I skated a little. Thursday January 1 - 1914 Fine and cold. Temp. 18°. We were skating nearly all day. I was up at Geddes's for dinner. Friday January 2. Dull and cold with mist and a little rain and snow. Temp. 28°. Edgar brought me in. Saturday January 3 Dull and mild with snow melting as it falls. Temp. 28°. Uncle Albert was in with wood. Sunday January 4. Fine and cold Temp. 27°. Uncle Alfred went ho came in. Monday January 5. Dull and cold. Temp. 17°. School started. Uncle Alfred went home.
