Monday July 27. Dull and wet. Arthur and Noble went over to a baseball match. Edgar and I started over in a buggie and the horse becoming frightened of an automobile bolted into the fence and smashed the buggy shafts. The army worm has appeared at Uncle Andrew's and has destroyed one field.
Tuesday July 28. Fine and warm. Oliver and I were picking berries in the morning and I was helping Uncle Alfred's to draw in hay in the afternoon.
Wednesday July 29. Fine and hot. I went into town to get our mail.
Friday Thursday July 30. Fine and hot Our examination reports of entrance into Normal School came out to-day. We all passed but Oliver Frank Nina and Sara. The fourth form results came out also and all passed but Lauda McLaren.
