Paid old Mr Detweiler 25 cts for a dinner I had with him on the day of the Council meeting. Paid James George for a pair of boots for Ed also a pair of shoes for Mary also the balance on old A/C Six Dolrs - Seventy five cents. Bought two caps at 40 c each for the boys also one hat for myself $1.40
M 15th. Put the pea straw back into the barn and hauled some logs to be cut.
T. 16. Paid James Stuart for 18 B 27 lbs of wheat @ 1401/2 c. $26.00. This is the wheat we had of him for seed. Paid J.J. Lehnen Three Dolrs on Church A/C. Mary Eleven Ten Dolrs. Father and Me 1/2 day thrashing for Levi Eby.
W. 17th. Diging the kidney potatoes gathering corn etc. Father helping Craigs to put straw in the barn. Robert had Twenty Dolrs this morning, and settled with Gordon.
Th. 18th. Father and mayself dug Freds potatoes and the rest of the day were gathering corn. Robert Hauling lumber from the mill also brought the chopped Oats from mill. Yesterday Kaufmans heifer to bull, by John Smiths boys, Today John Smiths cow to bull by same. Settled with Iden Goble his bill against me Two Dolrs twelve and a half cents. Father owes him four days labor and this will make us straight to this date. Robert paid the interest on Idens Mortgage to the thirteenth of last July. Thirty Dolrs. also interest on interest on to this date. 40 c. Settled with Mr John Goble for labour on Schwendkers barn floor One Dolr fifty cents, and for Wool which I have of Mr Delf. 21 lbs. at 30 c. = 6.30 c. this settles the ac between us to this date. Robert settled with Mr Joh Goble his A/C against Robert for labour also two years interest on the mortgage Twenty four Dolrs. Seventy cents.
