In the afternoon getting out sleigh runners. T. 5th. Killing pigs, six of them, Mr. Goble butchering. W. 6th. Sold Mr J. Traflet Ten Bushls. of potatoes @ 50 c. per B. = $5.00. Paid. Cutting up Pork. Hauled a sleigh crook to Mr. Gobles etc. Th. 7th. Putting away pork etc. Father half day helping Uncle Iden to clean up peas this is a set off against his work mending boots for us this winter. F. 8th. Chopping wood. Robert picking potatoes. S. 9th. Hauled of acord of 5 foot wood to Guire. this is the second cord I have delivered to him as per agreement $1.50 per cord. Mrs. Guire paid me in full. M. 11th. Sawing sleigh runners at Mr J. Gobles. Mr G. helping half day. Chopping in the afternoon. T. 12th. Chopping all day. W. 13th. Wet. Chors. Th. 14th. Chopping.
