Monday November 14th Dad. drove Tid. down to school this morning and took Enah down to her father's. He has been quite sick with neuralgia and had to have a couple of {illegible} to-day. I spent most of the fore noon doing chores. Art. and Charlie Quanbury came over to borrow the waggon and hog rack. Dad. went out when he came home and bagged up some of the potatoes that were in the field in piles, and after dinner I went out with him and finished the job, then we got Charlie Quanbury to haul them up when he came back with the waggon Dad. drove down after Tid and Enah but Enah walked home before he found her. Marj. went down right after dinner and stayed at Auntys for tea & went to the Girls Auxillary to-night. I went down to band practice to-night and we both stayed at Auntys all night. The band boys got paid off for the summer concerts to-night. I drew nine dollars. Enah had a letter from Marion Sutherland to-day, she is in Ireland. Much milder. Wednesday November 16th Dad got started ploughing again this morning and got in a fair day although he didn't get a very early start as the colts were over east of the orchard and we had to get them back. We turned them and the cattle on the field where the mangels were and the cattle have spent most of the time eating the mangel tops. I chased them off once but they wouldn't stay. It doesn't
