23 sowed 3 1/2 bushel of oats that finished the field except a little seeding down the ground is very dry it cold & very little growth
frost 24 hard frost last night drew dung onto the garden & plowed in it the crabs trees in full bloom
25 drew dung to the field below the hose there is a fine rain this evening & it is very much wanterd
26 ridged up for the carrots in the garden & finished drawing dung to the field below the house every thing is very much refreshed with the rain
27 sowed the most of the carrots in the garden beets & mangols plowed the corn ground sowed bushel of peas & oats on the east side of the path going the old well
28 the Revd Mr Follock preached his fairwell sermon this forenoon Mr Cochran preached this evening
29 finished the carrots & beets this forenoon draged rolled & draged the corne ground & planted the most of it Ad furrowed it out we put it in drills for feed for the cows
30 finished the corn Geordy helped J Colhouns to plant potatos washed the sheep in the afternoon the water is very warm
31 went to Lyn on the Mixed to Wm Clowes funeral he was buired at the old buiring ground the Revd Mr Masson Preached there was a very large funeral I was one of the carriers fine rain this morning
