18 Ad finished spliting the wood no Spring work yet
19 Revd Mr Robinson preached this evening
20 Ad laid up some of the line fence I quiled som
21 Ad laid up some of the fence in the forenoon went to the funeral of Ebenzyer Curely
22 Ad went to the River to fish with JA Bradley the pike is done runing
23 Ad worked at the line fences part of the day there was rain & snow part of the day
24 Ad got the line fence finished he had the most of it to take apart I was not able to help him I am so lame with the Rheumatism in my left leg
25 put up the Road fence in the forenoon put up a gate at the gravel pit & put a lock on it because the people with leave the Bars down & the sheep & cattle get on the road
26 the Revd Mr Robinson preached this morning very few out there is about 6 inchs of snow on the ground this morning it came in the night rain most of the day
27 Ad was looking for the sheep most of the day he got some of them at Wm Armstrongs & others at Fillers they got at the pit bars
28 Ad went with Ellen to Mr Mitchles he died at 9 oclock last night he left Ellen there
29 Ad went to the funeral of Mr Mitchel he took the double buggy with the Bearers the Revd Mr Carrol officiated the church was filled I was not able to go I am bad with my eyes & knees
30 Ad put up midle fence in between the ditches it was all blown down with the wind last fall no plowing yet hard frost at night the ground is too wet to plow it is dri{illegible} very f{illegible}
