very heavy rain this morning no sabath school no children came out Revd Mr Preached in the morning & Revd Mr Dowsley at night |

ground the knifes of the mower & mowed in the midle west field the grass is light fine day |

mowed in the west midle field Wm mowed the corners |
2 loads of hay |

Wallace McNiel came out with Bruces horse & rake & raked half the field this forenoon I finished the mowing of it Wm & me drew in two loads put one over the cows & one over the sheep |

Billie came from Delta for Vive & Mrs Barns they came from Toronto on tusdays Express he helpedus in with 2 loads of hay they were very large ones & to unload one that we backed outof the old barn we put it over the cows) one over the horses & one over the cows Wallace raked the rest of the field we that is Wm Wallace & me went to the funeral of John McNiels Wife at the River She was buired at the Ebenezer church Revd Mr Stewart Preached there was 40 teems Wallace took the corps with our horses {from the left margin} we had 7 loads of hay in that field all together we got Alick rake & horses after we came from the funeral & finished the field |

I went & helped Bruce to mow with our horses & mower Wm howed the potatos fine day |

helped Bruce this forenoon we finished the field next the Rail Road I then cut the little field below our house Wm worked at the potatos fine day |
