eat the Goose. Mr, Gall brought his little girls
to stay a couple of days. The children all went
to the Christmas tree at Hall.

a party at ladell’s and enjoyed it very much. Charlie

Lovely day, Louie & I walked the lake to Galls but
did not find Eva there.

We got telegram to say that Clara is dead, we must
drive over tomorrow morning.

Fine & sharp. George & I drove to father’s & had
dinner & then on to Huntsville where the funeral
service was held. Annie & Sam were there. Then
we all came with the hearse to the cemetry near
home where Clara’s remains were buried, Mother is
very poorly and was not able to go out, Annie
& Sam weregoing to stay till Thursday, We came back
that evening & brought Eva home.

home where Clara’s remains were buried, Mother is

drove Charlie to a wood camp but he came back at
night & did not get work. Maud Brymer called &
brought Eva home. Men busy at the house. Plaster
is coming down. & there is a general mess.

hang clothes on Chester’s line. The house was
moved back.
