Cut some wood Clara went up town in afternoon Tuesday 12 Cold, roads good Got horses shod in the morning. We went out home in afternoon and to uncle Fred's in evening to Hills & Eddies wooden wedding {page 2} January Wednesday 13 1897 Cold. Roads good We got home about noon John Burns here and told us they had a youngster at their house Thursday 14 Cold, Roads good. We went up town in morning. Grace came over. I went up to trial in afternoon between A.T. Ripley & N. Waffle Friday 15 Cold. I got a load of wood off Downs
