Sat. Dec 1: Cloudy and cool. in the fore noon I sent pedigrees and transfers to those that bought cattle at the Sale not doing much the rest of the day.
Sun. Dec 2: Pleasant but cool.
Mon. Dec 3: Clear and warm. I and I. H. husked corn down at the old place.
Tue. Dec 4: A heavy fogg all day I was husking again to day.
Wed. Dec 5: Cloudy and cool. Walter and I took a load of oats to Shanesville. after noon after noon brought up the corn husked Monday and Tuesday.
Thu. Dec 6: Cloudy and cool. Walter and I went to the Mill for lumber in the fore noon. Walter plowing for him self in the after noon. not doing any thing else.
Fri. Dec 7: Misting rain most of the day. we were thrashing beans.
Sat. Dec 8: Clear and pleasant in the fore noon. after noon cloudy. I finished thrashing beans the fore part of the day.

Mon. Dec 10: Cloudy and cool. I was husking in the fore noon. after noon Walter and I cleaning up beans.
Tue. Dec 11: Light clouds and a high wind. not doing any work to day.
Wed. Dec 12: Clear part of the day. not to cold as yesterday I stacked wood in the fore noon. after noon Walter and I cleared a load of beans.
Thu. Dec 13: Clear most of the day and cold. not doing much to day.
Fri. Dec 14: Clear and cold. I was helping clean up beans in the fore noon. not doing much in the after noon.
Sat. Dec 15: Cloudy. some snow. not doing much.
Sun. Dec 16: Clear and pleasant.
Mon. Dec 17: Cloudy and soft. Snow. Dick drew me up some corn and stalks this after noon.
Tue. Dec 18: A foggy mild day. I husked corn in the shop.
Wed. Dec 19: Clear and warm. William Butler was here making a pig pen.
