Mon. Jan 7: Cloudy and moderate. I sawed wood in the fore noon. after noon helped Walter make a pig. Shoot. Two Croton men were here putting up stove trougs and chimney stack.
Tue. Jan 8: Cloudy and soft. I was not doing much to day.
Wed. Jan 9: Cloudy and moderate a little rain last night.
Thu. Jan 10: Cloudy and soft. there was wind. Snow and rain last night. I was not doing much. I was to see S. A. Cragg this fore noon who is very sick.
Fri. Jan 11: Snow most of the day.
Sat. Jan 12: Some snow and blustering about six inches of snow on the ground. doing very little these days.
Sun. Jan 13: Cloudy and soft.
Mon. Jan 14: Cloudy. Snow or rain most of the day. doing very little to day.
Tue. Jan 15: Foggy. I went down to the same and cleaned at oats in the fore noon.

Wed. Jan 16: Cloudy high wind and cold. not doing any thing to day. James Cragg was buried this after noon.
Thu. Jan 17: Cloudy and cool. Some snow. not doing much.
Fri. Jan 18: Cloudy and cold. doing as yesterday.
Sat. Jan 19: Clear and cold. not doing anything.
Sun. Jan 20: Cloudy. Soft wind all day. roads getting muddy. this was an ugly day. Mr. Holmes preached three times in our Church.
Mon. Jan 21: Cloudy and soft. not doing any thing.
Tue. Jan 22: Clear and pleasant. Fred was here was working with him part of the day.
Wed. Jan 23: Cloudy. Soft. Snow this evening. Dick was here. we were selling our acel for his last years work. Bro. and Paul was here.
Thu. Jan 24: Cloudy and cold. not doing much. we got a telegram last night from Buffalo last night that Victoria is sick.
Fri. Jan 25: Cloudy and cold. was splitting wood.
Sat. Jan 26: Cloudy and snow in the evening. doing very little to day.
