Croton December 1902 Wed Dec 10 cloudy and soft. I was sawing stove wood part of the day. I sent a letter to Catharine Bush. Thu Dec 11 cloudy, a light sprinkling of snow. I was sorting over apples. Fri Sarah was over making some pies. Dec 12 clear and cold. I sat in the house. Sat Dec 13 a rough stormy forenoon. Alice and Sarah was here cleaning house. Sun Dec 14 cloudy part of the day and cold, the thermometer 10 deg below zero this morning. I was not at church today. Mon Dec 15 cloudy and soft, rain this evening. Dick brought me a load of wood. I corded it up this afternoon. Tue Dec 16 cloudy forenoon and soft afternoon, cold and snow-rain last night. Belle was here. Croton December 1902 Wed Dec 17 cloudy for part of the day and cool. Thu Dec 18 light clouds and moderate. I was making candles. Fri Dec 19 clear most of the day and pleasant. Sarah was here cleaning our house and baking. Sat Dec 20 a dull soft wet day. Belle was here a little while this forenoon. Sun Dec 21 cloudy and soft. Mon Dec 22 cloudy and soft, rain last night. The wind had got in the North and is getting cold again this evening. Tue Dec 23 cloudy and cool. Bilton was here awhile this forenoon. Sarah was here. Wed Dec 24 light snow part of the day. Thu Dec 25 light snow most of the day. I had my Christmas dinner with Sarah. Fri Dec 26 snow falling lightly all day. Belle has been with me this forenoon. Sarah was cleaning up here.
