Tuesday April 5, 1921. I delivered mail on the whole route with Dick and Charlie's Gip. Got the bars for cow chains McFaun $3.90 Roy got five chains at Robinson's 2.25 The day was fine and the roads are getting dry and solid. Paid gas bile $7.90 Wedneday April 6, 1921. I delivered mail on the whole route with Dick and Charlie's Gip. In the afternoon, I went down to the Bearline bridge in the fifteenth car with Mr Whitebread. Roy went to Chatham. I have him $15.00 He brought home four cow chains 1.80 The day was warm and very fine and the roads are quite dry and are being [illegible]. Thurday April 7, 1921. I delivered mail on the whole route with Dick and Charlie's Gip. Roy put in the rods and chains in the cow house on Byre Mr English and the boys worked at putting in the oats. Mary and Cora and Ida came out in the [illegible]; they were here when [rest of page cut off]
