Thur May 14. Fine but cooler wind in Toronto got switch $4.80 home at noon went to Willies home at 5.P.M. Mrs Delaporte called. Annie and I went to Mrs Wells for dress $4.00
Fri May 15. Fine but quite warm. Dr not in so I went for a walk to gardeners with Annie and Boyle girls no fire
Sat May 16. Cool east wind I went to Jennie Speights dinner at the Selby. and drive in the evening. thunder & rain midnight.
Sun May 17. Fair but very cold wind. at church. called on Mrs Orr.
Mon May 18, Fine and cold. ice. I came home. Out grass at Annies
Tue May 19. Fine and warmer. Put in screen door. Dahlias. at Dr called at Miss Edeys in the evening.
Wed May 20. Fine much warmer. Nelson Smellie triing trees Evergreens. I painted south Veraudah and steps A. here.
Thur May 21. Fine warmer. no need of fire. called to see M. Watson
Fri May 22. Fine moderately warm. Annie has cold in bed here a ligshower but very little.
Sat May 23. Fine but very cold after thunder this a.m. down to freeing at night. fire on. I called at Mrs Smellies into here Radio and Race in afternoon.
Sun May 24. Very cold. N.W. wind ice coldest 24th for years. at morning church. Frank Teasdales had A. and I for tea. Three girls murdered. Mrs Mick Matron at farm.
Mon May 25. Fine ad still cold N. wind. Annie teaching and at Lizzies. I walked to Willies for a while and invited to Mr Davidsons for tea at Grave yard and in to su eve works later. Annie here.
