Lanark about two weeks ago under the Preaching of the Revd Willm Dick. He is now preaching in the village of Lanark and is appearing to be successful Oct 8 Mr Dick has baptised 10 up to this date, by immersion, in the village of Lanark Nov 19 John Mason left Lanark on the 8th current Decr 20 The Queen of England was delivered of a son on the 9th Novr last - Decr 20 Wrote Brother William to day Decr 20 There are two or three inches of snow on the ground at present which fell on the 19th There were two similar falls this season before but neither of them lay above two or three days - 1842 Jan 25 By cash settled with M.
