& saw Santa. The congregaltion gave me $10.00 in gold. Had a small programme & arrived home 9.30 Eve. Dec 24.- Wed.- Very Busy. Preparing for Xmas. Henry went to B- this p.m. Decorated our tree this Eve. Rec'd cards from Jennir B. Mrs.A.Walker. Dec 25.- thur.- "Christmas Day" Elsie, Wyne & family here for dinner & Annie's for tea. Papa & Willard went to the Asylumn this Eve. Rec'd presents & cards by mail. Dec 26.- fri.- Annie & Howard are yet. Washed the Mason's apron & cleaned up the church this p.m. Y.P.U this Eve. Reo.Mr.Findleson gave a talk on his trip to the Old Country. Dec 27.- Sat.- Busy all day. Dec 27.- Mason's St. John's Night. Dec 28.- Sun.- Henry & mama went up to Grandma's this morn. S.S. this p.m. Service this Eve. Large Crowd. Christmas Service. Dec 29.- Mon.- Straightened up at the hall. Dec 30.- tues.- Washed. Henry helped at Uncle's to-day Dec 31.- Wed.- Ironed. rec'd a letter & lovely hdkp. (one for mama)from E thef J.L.M.N by mail. Annnie & H- came up & stayed all night.
