Sept 6.- Sun.- Very rainy, Still at Elsie's Sept 7.- Mon.- Washed & busy helping Elise Sept 8.- tues.- Ironed. baby is improving. Sept 9.- Wed.- came home on the milk-ing & we washed Sept 10.- thur.- Mama was at Elsie's to-day. I have been busy. Sep 11.- fri.- Picked Apples & grapes. Sept 12.- Sat.- went to B- & gave Vera a lesson. Mrs J. Walker took a poor spill but feels better to-night. Henry went to B- to-night. Sept 13.- Sun.- S.S & Service this p.m. Annie, Willard & Howard stayed here for tea. Retired early. Sept 14.- Mon.- Henry went duck hunting to-night. Sept 15.- tues.- Washed, picked apples this p.m. beautiful weather. Aunt Maggie was at Walkers to-day & came here to wait for the stage. Jo. Dalton went to P- for the engine to cut corn with to-day. Sept 16.-Wed.- ironed. Washed & scrubbed the shed. Sept 17.- thur.- ironed this morn & help Mrs. D- this p.m. to prepare supper for the corn- cutters. Sept 18.- fri.- Withelmiene helped Mrs. Dalton again to prepare 2 meals . two men who will help us are staying here all night at the machine was set here to-night. Sept 19,- Sat.- Mrs. Dalton helped us to-day . as we had 18 men for dinner & 19 men for supper.
