Wednesday Sept 30 Fine and warm. Paisley Fair took place to-day. I did not go as I intended to. Scott went to Paisley yesterday and Noble was to go to-day but he took sick during the night and returned home after dinner.

Thursday October 1. Fine and warm. Noble is a little better

Friday October 2. Fine and warm. Noble is much better.

Saturday Oct 3. Fine and very warm. I was not in the office to-day but went out to Uncle Alfred's. We were hauling in corn in the

morning and part of the afternoon after which Edgar and I did some chopping with the engine while Arthur and Uncle Alfred continued the corn. I returned home a little after 4 p.m. Jessie and Isabel and Miss. Lurrie were in town this afternoon.

Sunday October 4. Fine and warm. We were all at church except noble. In the evening I went to the harvest home at the Methodist Church. This is the first time I have heard Rev. Dr. S Camlan. I like his preaching very well. There will be a different minister, the one in Cargill.

Monday October 5, fine and warm noble almost well though still week. I was at the library and took out two books and a magazine.

Tuesday October 6 fine and warm

Wednesday October 7 fine and warm.{Yara Fair?} is being held to-day. I got a suit of cloth at MY Meray to try on.

Thurday October 8 fine and warm with rain in the morning

Saturday October 10 warm and wet. John Yeddes came home from Stratford Keneardine High

school {Pa?} won a football match from Port Elzim by 1 to 0 and in basketball 11-9. Oliver Christie and Uncle Yilbert went in.

Sunday October 11 Dull and cool. Papa and mamma went to Church in the morning and Noble and I went to the Baptist Church at night. There was no service in the Presbyterian Church at night as Mr Manne was taken ill.

Monday October 12 Dull and warm. Thanksgiving Day. Noble went out to Scotis. The rest of us went out to Chusties. I had a {shot at a bortridge?} for the first time and {nursted it?}

Saturday October 17 Fine and Rain in the morning but fine in the afternoon. {Southampton?} Highschool BasketBall team played against

Sunday October 18. Fine and warm. {Papa?} and Olive went to {illegible} the Methodist Church in the morning and Noble and I went to the Presbyterian. At night Noble and I went to the Baptist church and where there was a Baptism.

Monday October 19 Fine+warm Uncle Alfred and Arthur were in with {heio?} to-day.

Thursday November 12 Dull and wet with snow in the evening. The concert of J.G. Rockwell's Sunny South Troupe was held to-day to-night at the Town Hall. At noon they had a "{Krowtown?} Parade"

I went to the concert.

Friday November 13 Wet in the morning and cold during rest of day. Uncle {Sunday?} way was in town with Bessie, who went down to Shafford to stay a week. This is Papa's birthday

Sunday November 15 Dull and warm with much rain. Temp 44° Noble came home to-day to play.

Wednesday November 18 Thawing a little. Oliver and I went to the {balcony?} to-night.

Friday November 20. Dull with snow Temp.{14/19}. A shed behind Langford's took fire at noon but was soon put out. Ethel and {Jim?} Christie were in town to-night. While in town the recieved news that one of their houses had fallen into the {illegible}. The house had been taken out without damage before they reached home.

Saturday November 21 Dull with snow. We all attended church in the morning except Papa.{illegible} Uncle Alfred and Anthon were in with a load of wood

Sunday November 22 Dull and cold with snow and storm in the afternoon and evening. We all attended church in the morning except Papa. Noble went out to Uncle Alfred's in the afternoon. Oliver came in in the evening and he and I went to the Prebyterian church at night.

Friday January 1- 1915. Cold and stormy. Temp 8°. Olive and I went to prayer meeting this morning. The land serenaded this afternoon.


Saturday January 2- Cold and stormy. Temp 22°. Papa did not go down to the office this morning. Uncle Gilbert, Ethel, Mr. and Mrs Jean and Ethel Hill were in town this afternoon.

Wednesday January 6 Dull and warm with rain. Temp 30°. Edgar was in with wood. Ethel and Helen Christie were in town. According to the {zeerent?} in Saugeon G. Christie got 242 votes and D S with 241. J.B Wallace brought us in with a quarter of beef.

Thursday January 7. Dull and cold with high wind. Papa did not go down to the office. We cut wh the quarter of beef.

Friday January 8. Dull and cold. Temp 22. Mrs. Bocksleffe on some ice and fell as she was coming over here and broke a small bone in her wrist.

Saturday January 9 {nice?} and cold. Oliver and Alex Geddes were in town. {in margins: and look how things afresh} Uncle Andrew Aunt Minnie and Helen Hamilton were in town here for supper. Uncle Alfred and Arthur were in here after supper and Arthur was shouting.

Thursday January 14 Dull and warm. Arthur was in with wood. We cleaned the store {files?} this morning. We cleaned off a {hive?} of snow from the creek.

Friday January 15. Fine and cool. Arthur was in with a load of green wood. J.R.B Christie was in for a load of sawdust.

Saturday January 16. Dull and warm. Uncle {Gilbert?} and Laurier were in town. Uncle Alfred came in and is staying all night. {crossed out}

Sunday January 17. Dull and wet in the morning. Colder towards night. In the morning we all went to church. At night Noble and I went to the Presbyterian church Mr. Mann and Mr. Watt charged

Monday January 18 Dull and cold. Temp 27°. Arthur was into to-day. There is great skating {about?} the dam and Oliver and I went up after supper. I got a {game?} of hockey lots to-day. I got my hair cut to-day.

Tuesday January 19 Dull adn warm with much snow. Temp. 23°. Arthur was in and Uncle Alfred went home with him. We were skating at the creek this afternoon.

the Farmers' and Womens Institute which we also attended. Uncle Gilbert was {in?} the afternoon. Uncle {Sander?} and Bessie were also in and Olive went out with them.

Sunday January 24 Fine and cold. Papa Noble and I went to church in the morning and at night Noble and I attended the Presbyterian Church.

Monday January 25 Fine and cold but windy in the evening. Oliver Geddes came in and Olive came with him. DK Christie was in with wood for Mrs

D. Kennedy.

Tuesday January 26. Fine and cold. I got my new skates.


Wednesday January 27. Fine at times but mostly changeable. Uncle Sandie and Oliver Geddes were in with cloth. D.L Christie was in with wood.

Saturday May 22. Dull and cold in the morning. Fine in the afternoon. I came to Burgoyne and Noble went in with the double-buggy and brought Papa and Mamma in the evening

Sunday May 23. Dull in the morning, fine in the afternoon. Olive, Noble and I were at church in the morning and I was church at night.

Monday May 24 Warm in Fine and cool. We planted the potatoes to-day. Edgar went to Southampton too this afternoon. Arthur and I went up to play baseball in the evening.

Tuesday May 25. Fine in morning. Dull in afternoon with a little rain. Mrs. Duncan Black's funeral took place this afternoon. Uncle Gilbert

was over to it and Papa went back with them.

Wednesday May 26. Dull and very cold. Aunt Jeannie and Donald u brought Papa over in the car. We were fixing fences to-day.

Thursday May 27. There was a hard frost last night. Slightly warmer than yesterday. Noble took Papa and Mamma into town. We were {unsure} wood in the bush to-day.

Friday May 28. Fine and warmer. Noble took Mamma and Papa into town. In the bush in the afternoon.

Saturday May 29. Bright and warm. We were working in the bush in the morning and I was there in the afternoon. Noble went in and brought them out.

Sunday May 30 Fine and warm. We were all at church in the morning and I was in the evening.

Monday May 31. Fine and very warm. We were working in the bush this morning and at the cistern in the afternoon.

into town this morning. We were working at the cistern in the morning and at the fence at the creek in the afternoon.

Monday June 7 Dull and warm with rain in the afternoon. Noble and I went into town this morning with the wagon to get a load of lumber and did not get home until supper time.

Tuesday June 8 Dull and cold. We were sawing wood with the engine in the bush.

Wednesday June 9. Dull and cool with heavy rains at interval.

Thursday June 10 Dull and cold with light rain in the evening. Papa and I were digging {unsure} holes in the afternoon and Noble was ploughing the summer fallow. We brought the red cow home from the bush.

Friday June 11 Dull and wet in the morning but fine in the afternoon. Papa and Mamma went into town this morning taking Tim and the buggy. We were cleaning the pipes in the morning and in the afternoon. Noble

was ploughing.

Saturday June 12. Dull in the morning fine in the afternoon. I went into town this morning. Uncle Alfred Edgar and Alice were in in the afternoon. Uncle Sandy and Alex were in in the afternoon. Arthur came in the evening. We returned home in the evening.

Sunday June 13. Dull and hot with thunderstorm in the afternoon. We were all Tuesday June 1 at church in the morning. Noble and Edgar went into a memorial service

and also attended church in town in the evening, Arthur and I were at Burgoyne church in the evening.

Monday June 14. Dull and cool. We were washing and painting the buggy today. Noble went to town on the wheel.

Tuesday June 15. Rain last night and this morning. We finished painting the buggy with a second coat. Noble and Arthur went into town in the afternoon to enlarge the stable door.

Wednesday June 16. Fine and warm in the morning with rain in the afternoon and evening. I started to clean the {unsure} this morning we then went back to the bush and cut {illegible} some posts for the fence. After dinner Papa and Noble took Tom back to the bush and hauled out the posts. I varnished the buggy and put top-dressing on the top. Arthur and I went up to Endeavour to-night.

Thursay June 17. There was a very heavy rain last night. And there was a flood

at the creek. We were working at the crib and cleaning and dressing putting dressing on the single banners. We dug some post holes in the afternoon.

Friday June 18. Fine and hot with thunderstorm in the afternoon and at night. Papa and Olive went to town taking Tom and the single buggy. We were at the bush sawing wood with the engine in the morning but the engine did not work right and we had to quit. Noble was helping Uncle Alfred in the afternoon

to wash sheep. We finished planting the turnips.

Saturday June 19. Dull and cold with rain in the morning. Noble went into town in the morning with Edgar and returned in the evening with Papa and Olive.

Sunday June 20. Fine and warm. We were all at church in the morning and Olive and I were at Sunday school. I was {unsure} at church at to- night.

Tuesday Monday June 21. Fine and warm. We were making the gravel box and {unsure} thistles. Papa and Mamma went into town

with Tom and the buggy and are staying all night. I was at a base-ball match Burgoyne 13 High Street 5.

Tuesday June 22. Dull and cool. Papa was taken ill in town last night but is much better to-day. Noble {unsure} went in on the bicycle and brought out Tom and the buggy. We were cutting thistles.

Wednesday June 23. Dull and cold. Noble started at the {unsure} work to-day. I was cutting thistles.

Thursday June 24. Fine and cool. Noble finished the {unsure} work

we were cutting thistle the rest of the day.

Friday June 25 Fine and cool, Cutting thistles. Fred Hanbridge brought their horse which Papa has purchased. Noble went into town with the horse (Fred), taking Olive with him and brought out Mamma. Noble and I were up at Geddes'.

Saturday June 26. Fine and hot. We were fixing the fence across the creek. I took Fred in to-night and came out on the wheel. Papa and Olive came out in the buggy

Sunday June 27 Fine and warm. Papa and Mamma were at church in the morning and Olive and I were there at night.

Monday June 28. Fine and warm. Noble and I went in to town with a load of wood took the pine lumber to the mill to planed and brought it and some plank home. We got a {scuffler?} from J.D. McIntosh.

Tuesday June 29 Fine and hot. We were putting up the fence across the creek to-day.

Wednesday June 30 Fine and warm. We were scuffling the corn and

{unsure} to-day.

Thursday July 1 Dull and hot in morning fine in afternoon. Noble and I went into town this evening.

Friday July 2. Dull with slight shower in morning, hot in the afternoon. Papa and Mamma went into town. We put up the {barn lock?} in the field at the creek and in the afternoon Noble was moving hay.

Saturday July 3 Dull and hot. I was {unsure} to-day. Papa and Mamma returned home.

Sunday July 4 Dull and hot with heavy rain in the evening. We were all at church in the morning except Papa and Mamma {unsure} was sick. I was there in the evening.

Monday July 5 Very windy and cold. The {wind} blew off one of our barn doors. I was {unsure} and Noble and Papa were cutting weeds.

Tuesday July 6 Cool with very light shower in the morning. Papa Fine and bright. John Geddes returned home yesterday {unsure}

by Myrtle Stait. They came down this morning. Noble was cutting the bay and {unsure} what he cut on Friday. Papa and I were cutting weeds and fixing the {unsure} in the field across the creek,

Wednesday July 9. Cool with a few drops of rain in the morning and rain also in the evening. Papa Olive and I went into town to pick {unsure}. Uncle Gilbert and Aunt Jeannie were here to-day. I drove up to Endeavour to-night.
