<u>6</u> <u>Thursday</u>. Sultry. Heavy thunderstorms and rain this p.m. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira this morning and started cutting in the field beside the house. Willard Weaver was here this p.m. and stayed for tea. Grandpa Krauter's and Emerson's called here tonight and we all went up to Lincoln Weaver's

<u>10</u> <u>Monday</u>. Warm & windy. Walter went to Elmira Monthly Fair this morning and Aubrey was scuffling Vernon & Ella did the washing. This p.m. Walter was cutting and Aubrey stooked.
