Monday 17th Stormy & cold We hauled eight loads of manure from G.J.R. Yds today. had section was helping
Tuesday 18th Cold did chores morning and went to town in afternoon, bgt 16 bu barley at Thorps @ 45.ps at 65. paid 85 c the bal I paid with oats that I took there last week. Paid Morris 2 p. ac. 10 85 21 28
Wensday 19th fine Shipped some seed grain in morning & did chores in afternoon Mary went to town & I wrote letters ect.
Thursday 20th fine did Chores and went to town for seed barley got leggings mended 15 c Jas D. McGregor & Mr Brown of Collingwood came to see stock and then we went to Sorby's Stones & O.A.C. we did not do any business. Mr Mc had offered me $15000 for old bull and will take him any time next month
Friday 21st fine After Chores in morning I went in to see Mr McGregor and Mr Brown and had a little talk with Mr Mc but nothing definite was done. took Mr Brown up to see Blyth's bulls he has offered me 500 for three of our bulls subject to 2 test and also if his Bro has room in car for them will let me know on monday pd. Penfold's ac. 1900 $1800 recd for lumber 800 800 18 00
