Thursday 18th fine J.W. hauled wood out of bush in morning and hauled a load to Metcalf 6.00 NP, in Afternoon I went to Tow in morning bgt hardware 20 c ay Penfolds. Blanket at Metcalfs, $125 got Chickens from Phillips n.p. 60 c sold Cockerel to Tom $120 np 1.25
sep 26 x Friday 19th fine J.W. took a load of wood to Scroggies in morning 600 N.P. and we cut wood in afternoon bred E.P. Bell 2nd to Prince of Benton
Saturday 20th fair sleet at night J.W. & I cut wood all day

Went to town in evening, bgt underclothes $100 hardware 18 c grocieries & C. oil $1.85 1.60

Tuesday 23rd fair J.W. went to Harveys Thrashing Father & I did chores and Rumfords man came to fix furnace, it works pretty well account $3.00.
