| + | {Hand writing from July 23, 1906 to August 24, 1906 is quite different with different spellings also e.g. Wednesday instead of James Bowman's usual "Wensday", and it may be that someone else maintained the diary while Mr. Bowman was out west. Different handwriting and style from Wednesday August 19, 1906 to October 16, 1906 when James Bowman again indicates he was away; however, this time more of his comments esp. re: purchases are made} | ||
