Celebrated Roscoe's and Grandma Harley's birthdays up home at noon. Went swimming after dinner and then down to Barkers where they had 19 for Supper. + | Drove up to Barkers in afternoon then Jack took Lou, Jean, and I up to Uncle Arts where we had supper about five and then we all went to Zenda Garden party in the Gray Dort. A ballgame before a wonderful programme give by a band, an orchestra, and 17 performers. Sleepy but an enjoyable ride home with Jean. Home at four o'clock just before a heavy rain started. | ||

+ | Boys entertained girls of U.F.Y.P.O at a meeting up home and the girls put on a real feed of pork & beans etc followed by dancing until 1.30. Had some wonderful dances with Jean and took Marie Taylor home with me. |

Celebrated Roscoe's and Grandma Harley's birthdays up home at noon. Went swimming after dinner and then down to Barkers where they had 19 for Supper. Nice drive to Brantford and back to Bendemere in Jacks car after the milking was done.

August Wednesday 11 1926
Drove up to Barkers in afternoon then Jack took Lou, Jean, and I up to Uncle Arts where we had supper about five and then we all went to Zenda Garden party in the Gray Dort. A ballgame before a wonderful programme give by a band, an orchestra, and 17 performers. Sleepy but an enjoyable ride home with Jean. Home at four o'clock just before a heavy rain started.
