Emery came this morning and worked awhile at the stable but Daddy asked him to help with the oats so he said he would. Daddy and I went over about half past nine and started to load up. Vyse and Emery came over and loaded a load before we did I was loading ours. We got three loads off before dinner, two of Vyses and one of ours. After dinner Daddy and Emery went out and I waited for Vyse. I pitched on this time and we got three loads and finished. Then Vyse went home and we got a little hay over for the horses and Emery worked awhile at the stable. When we were taking Harry and Belle through the narrow alley way in the stable the both got out and caused some trouble, then after tha Coleman's colts got into the {Margin note} wheat stable and we chased them about half and hour to shake down our supper. Emery built a duck pen and put our four in it as he thought they ought to have good water. He went home to-night and will not be back till Thursday as to-morrow he intends to go to Simcoe to hear Sir Wilfred and Wednesday his Sunday School picnic.
