Then I came up to the house, did a few chores around, and Frank and I opened up some ditches, one out of the buck wheat field which is full of water. Frank did not have to go to school to-day as it was Teacher's Convention. This afternoon I went over to Bannister's and borrowed a ladder to pick the rest of the Northern Spies. I got a little over a bushel off the two trees. Frank wrote letters all the afternoon and about four o'clock went down to the dentist's and got his tooth finished up. |
