Went down town this morning with Dad and got the colts at Walt. McCall's and got them home without any trouble. We put them in the box stall to-gether with Davy. We stopped in at Vyse's and Dad arranged with him to come over in the rning and help kill pigs. We also stopped in at the Wide spred to ask Emery how Mrs Mc Pherson was and in home. This afrer noon we hooked up Harry and Belle to the rqack and went down to Hubys and got one of the rain barell's to scald the pigs in to-morrow and a box. Dad also got the turkey from Huby this rning Auntie got a letter from Miss Water's letting aout the squabs.

Frank stayed home this forenoon to help kill pigs. He went down to Vyse's first thing to get some gamble sticks. We were not sure whether Vyse would be home yet as he was going last night to {Edmoons?} banquet in Simcoe, but he was lucky enoug to get a ride with Jack Martin and got back about four a.m.
