Wednesday 31<u>th</u>.. S & I picked up all apples in orchard before dinner. Ellen & M.W. went to Oakville. I made an apron In Evening Annie giving Sarah music lesson Grant came Hallow'e'ene night I got dressed & he staid till aftern ten S & then S.A. & I went out walking backwards & shut our eyes & pulled a cabbage then we brought them it & looked at them A & S was crucked & slender. Mine was a bit head & short. We tried letter in wash dish mine turned up F.G.O.P. we made a baby & put it in Joes bed & put a lot of chairs & tins by door but he came in so sly that they never fell over.
