Crossed the Colorado River and was in California saw some more cotton. OIt did not look uo to much. but they dais it had been icke dver once. went to Diner to get some lunch cost us $2.00. Timed watch back another hour. Regular desert here. wind blowing sand. ( a regular sand storm) arrived at Niland at 2 oclock. cool here and very windy. 130 feet below sea level. at Salton on Sea wind blowing a gale 202 feet below sea level here ground looks like baked clay at Indio still blowing sandvery badly saw first oranges here. Passed San Jacinto peak 10805 feet high. also San
